Baby Ctenopma pic

Found this pic of my ctenopoma on fishgeeks.com (haven't been on there in years). My mom originally had been recomended this guy as a compatable tank mate for a 10g guppy/ molly tank. She called me up asking what the hell could be happening to all her fish that were mysteriously disappearing. I researched him and took him off her hands.

Not a monster in size but definately one at heart.

Besides having a death wish with my tire track, he even attacks the python when I'm cleaning the tank.

thanks. In the first pic he was about 1.5". I've had around 3 years and he's maybe 5.5-6". He had a lot of growth in the first year to 18 months. Can't say that I have seen any significant growth since then.

I have heard some people say that they have gotten them to 8". Hoping to have similar results. If I took a pic of him face on you would see quite a belly bulge. He's a pig
 
thank you, thank you. Solid he is, you can see one of his scales missing in the more recent pic, not uncommon since he antangonizes the hell out of my tire track (but he never seems to learn). He also likes to clear off a space on the bottom of sand, so he can fight his reflection. I've been looking for a mirror that will not deteriorate in water so he battle himself, instead of seeking punishment from the tire track.
