I just wanted to make a poll because i was windering ..
What do you guys feed mainly to your baby datnoids of all species?? and..
HOw fast have they been growing for you?

I was just wondering how picky some peoples baby dats are..

Me personally, ive got my lil baby Indo's hooked on earthworms now... they absolutely love baby earthworms. They also eat brine shrimp, bloodworms, feeder convicts. They refuse anything frozen, but i am working on it.

The Dats seem to be growing very fast, for Dats that is..from 1.5 inch to 2.5 inch in less then 2 months..

How bout u guys??

i feed mine torn up mkt shrimp and fd krill
 
Feed all of those things. Variety is better, as always. For a staple though, find something that it eats readily and that you have a constant supply of.
 
I feed them a bit of everything but mainly black worms.
 
My remaining baby indo will eat anything and everything. So far he has eaten, FD krill, market shrimp, guppies, live BW, frozen bloodworms, frozen plankton, and chopped nightcrawler. His staple is FD krill and the market shrimp. Having had 16 baby Indos at once plus taking care of ten or more at work Ive noticed that the majority of these babies would readily take anything once they recognize you are the one that gives them food.
 
Used to be brine shrimp but then I just switched it to bloodworms.
 
blood worms. mine dont seem to like anything else besides live blood worms and guppies. whenever i throw in krill or frozen food they just stare at it :(
