Best way to tell the difference between the regular and electric blues when they are a 1/4"?

The EBs will have a milky base color.

Can you tell the difference in this pic? These are all siblings, some EBs and some BGs.

Not so much, all look similiar to me. There are a few that look "golden" though?

Ok, in this pic, the ones circled are EBs. Compare it to the one just above the date, this one is a BG.

No good pics but when do they start getting a blue tint? I have some that have dark stripes and others that look more "milky" or "golden"

blue tint starts around 6-8 weeks.

Probably need to seperate them before then though, mine are about 3-4 weeks old at the moment. Still trying to get a clearer picture but where the tank sits, it is cause some glare.

I try to separate them as soon as I see the milky base.

I would too, if I could see a milky base color. I really don't see any but some are like a silver color and shiny?
