So I caught four baby fish from my pond, and I have no idea as to what species they are out of the ones in my pond; there were tons of them in the pond. The fish I have that could definitely breed include walleye/sauger, smallmouth bass, catfish, and minnows. I don't have any pics of the baby fish currently, but I will take some ASAP. They resemble the baby smallies I caught earlier in the year, but they are deeper bodied.

Here's the pics I took. O, and I'm already down to three :(; the biggest one started swimming upside down and then I noticed that it was missing one of it's fins... one of the other ones must have ate it since it was there when I caught it and put it in the bowl.

Those are juvenile sunfish. Any possibility you have adult sunnies in your pond and don't know about it?

Yeah, they look like juvie sunfish or quite possibly crappie. If they don't make it then they are probably crappie. Sunfish are heartier and easier to adapt to aquarium than crappie.

def crappie's

I don't think they are crappie. Crappie fry that I have seen do not have such distinct bars on the sides. They also have very large, usually dark eyes. Are you going by the dorsal fin? Juvenile sunnies often swim with the spiny part of the dorsal fin down, which I think is what is making the dorsal fin look crappie-like here.
