Went to grab test set for my tank and looked over at my xp3 to see something dart away really fast. I keep looking to see fry inside my xp3. I count five maybe more. I'm guessing they found a hole in my sponge before the intake and got sucked in. What so I do? Don't really care for them right now should I clean out the filter and what I find return to the tank. Goldfish will eat them or just let them die in the filter. Sorry for this but mollies breed like crazy. I knew this but it never cross my mind that they will get into my xp3

Yeah fry have away at finding out how to get into any thing. When I was younger I had an ac110 on a 55g community tank that had all kinda different fish in it. One day I was cleaning it out and found a bunch of platys in it. I would return the fish to the tank myself just to give them a fighting chance.

I had a 3" bala shark find his way into my 403, I knew he was missing and never even thought to look in there, the larges opening was 1/4.

Nice, I had the same thing happen with my FX5 when four Red Devils made it through my FX5, I notice it when I was cleaning my pump awesome!

Before my jack Dempsey decided the tiger barbs were midnight snacks, I used to get filters full of tiger barb fry. Every time I cleaned the xp3's I'd get at least 5-10 fry. Several grew to about 1" before "Buford" my jack Dempsey decided they tasted good.....
