Wassup everyone, i just bought 2 baby flower horns and it would be nice if anyone could give me some tips for raising them right. What kind of food should i feed them, their only about an inch long. I have them in a 20 gallon set up for now, but I know i have to separate them soon. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

i think you should feed them a mixed diet of blood worms, mini or baby cichlid gold, and sme kind of veggie's, but dont feed them feeder just yet u might intro a parasite and hurt your fish make sure you add some salt to ur tank and do your water changes every week and then see how the grow but take some pic's and domt be greedy share them wit us

i wish i could pic's of my fhowhorn and get some info on what u flower horn freak's think about it i just cant igure it out just yet

from my short experience w/ them, i can tell this:

- keep them in a brightly colored setting
- feed them a good staple along w/ treats (never over feed).... some will tell you to buy specialized food like chingmix or grandsumo (if you do, i would use those as treats and not as a staple)
- keep the water clean
- have fun and watch them grow!
- oh and take pics and SHARE!! ;)

& make sure you check out the sticky: this should keep you busy and well informed for a while...
