i have 3 baby FHs and i dont know jack**** about them

im not planing on keeping them there about and inch long now when do you think they will be big enough to give away?

...any good links on there behavior and what not?

1.5" would be better to let go of them 1" is fine tho
 
I would look at a Flowerhorn fish profile.
Size, temperment, etc will be outlined. They need alot of space as adults and have quite the cult following.
IDK the size of the tank you have them in, but get rid of them between 2 and 3 inches IMO. Any bigger and they may start fighting.

a guy at work wanted one to mix with his african cichlids... im not so sure now...
 
If he likes his africans he shouldn't do it. Terrible idea! There is alot to know about keeping flowerhorns and the basics are posted in the sticky's on the "fh and other cichlid crosses" page. The rest can be learned by researching this forum and asking questions in here. I have only kept fh's for about 17 months and this forum has been priceless in the learning process! I warn you though if you keep them long you wont want to get rid of them!

yeah i will let my friend know...

i dont really want any FHs i dont have the room and i not really into them... not to rain on your party... i can look up what they need tank wise... all i have is a lame 55 that might have room in a few months
 
keep them for a wile till ther 3-4"
they could not be FH's
or the could be kamfa FH's
