Last summer, I decided to hatch out a few horseshoe crab eggs. I recently discovered that I had uploaded the pics to my photobucket, so why not post them here?

The first pic is just after hatching, prior to the first molt (trilobite phase). The last 3 pics are post-molt. You can see the telson in the last 3 pics and its form is recognizable.

Definitely horseshoe crabs (Limulus Polyphemus). Collected from under a spawning female on the beach. They start out tiny, don't they? :-)
 
WOW i had know idea they started that small i had 1 about as big as a 50cent peice but my blue linned trigger ate it.
