Baby Hystrix Stingray Wont Eat

i recently bought a baby wild caught hystrix stingray from a website called Aquascapeonline.com (love the site, buy fish from there all the time) my problem is the ray i purchased last week will not eat, i have dropped food on to his disk and in front of him, still nothing, i am worried sick i will loose him, i need some advice on how to start making him eat.

whats the temp in the tank? is the bottom of his a red some what color?.. have you try live blood worm? it do wonder. what did the prev owner feed them? thats the key.. its like trying to feed a ray pellits when all its life ate nothing but feeders..

The temp is 73, and i can not see the bottom of the disk, and the only food i have tried is cut up silversides, and cut up uncooked shrimp.
