Baby jags - How long until superterritorial?

i know that females are more terrioal than males do to breeding habbits
 
mine is 15" and still isnt what I would call super territorial.

mine is 8'' now and is kept with a mayan and TSN and really not all that aggresive ..
there are nipp's here and there but , no constistant tormenting or chasing around my tank any way . but some fish are more agressive then other's of the same speice. they say at 6 to 7 inches tank mate come in to risk , just watch you fish and if agression is present . divide off the tank or set up a new one for this fish only.. here is a pic of mine

I had a 9" male that was a bastard. He eventually killed my Clarias and Pleco. It was sad. :(
 
It sounds to me like it depends on the tankmates, tank size and individual fish ? I guess you can get lucky/unlucky depending on how you look at it and get a mellow jag? I think once they start getting over half a foot you need to keep an eye on them.
