how long can i keep 5-7 baby (<1") jaguar cichlids in their 10 gallon growout tank for before i pick 2 for myself and sell 8 to my local fish store?? doing daily 50% water changes and its bare bottom with an aq70 on low flow. can i take them to like 3"?

Agreed^

This is a horrible idea, no offense but there's not enough volume to establish proper bio load in a 10g especially having to do large and frequent water changes. IMO you'll run into more problems then expected. I suggest a55 min to grow out a group that size to 3"

I did the same thing, I had 4 in a 55 grow out tank trying to get a male and female. I was newer to the species and underestimated their aggression. I had to separate them within a week of buying them due to aggression levels rising so fast. I took two back to the lfs and kept two. Good luck.
