my baby Jar is not eating ... he did for the first 3-5 days but now he is skinnnnnny and not eating !
he also swimms around like he has weights on his tail, he swimms with his head up and his tail at a 45 degree angle !
i have no clue what to do about that! should i force feed him? does he have a swimbladder prob. ? any feedback would be greately App.
thanks , marcus!

If its swimbladder disease, its usually the other way around. The tail usually floats above the head.

Pictures would help.

what are youfeeding it?pictures?

You haven't been feeding it so now it is weak and brittle. Try enclosing him in a small tank so he doesn't have to search for food. Keep the water warm and clean.
Mine will make every attempt to eat bloodworms so try those. Your best hope is that he will make an attempt to eat, if he doesn't than he may not make it.
Sorry for the bad news, but usually when they start acting up it's probably too late.

water temp should be around 80 degrees. is it alone or tankmates? could be stressed if there are other tankmates. try feeding live brine shrimp. i think it works very well with small arowanas.

he's alone in a lil float breeder cage , i tryed live bloodworms he ate them at first then he just stopped eating , i tryed floating pellets still no sighn of eating , i'll try to force feed him tonight , atleast he'll have something in his belly and treat the water with triple sulfa that should do it , right????? if it geats worse i'll let u know!

Good luck.

the fish is probably stressed out if its in one of those fry containers. it'll probably be fine if you'd intoduce it to the main tank. and try other types of food before you force feed it. you might end up killing it by doing that. live brine shrimp is the way to go.

whats da temp?
