Hi I just got a 3" jardini I tried feeding it frozen blood worm, dried blood worm, dried plankton. it always swim near the side of the tank and not feeding from the top surface of the water. is it because I putted him in a big tank so fast?

If it was me I'd let it eat the guppies for now till its a more stable size for trying new foods , growout out to about 6" then try getting it onto raw prawn/shrimp or muscles then from there you start the pellet training at 8"+

I don't think it's tank size. At 3", that's not too bad taking in a couple of guppies...I'd be full too.

you can try to tame it for other foods as well such as pellets, etc.
if they don't take it, starve it for a couple days and try again and they will be take it eventually. we've had the most luck with smaller sized juveniles.
good luck!

Ya I guess ima feed it guppy for now and throw some other food in there just case it want to eat other food. I was wondering any1 know what kind of jardini I have?
