Hey guys I have a small 3-4 in Jardini, been starving him to try to eat pellets but spits them out. He really likes bloodworms and live mealworms. Should I keep starving him?

Only 3-4 inches no feed what it will eat after the 8 inch mark don't feed for a day or two offer pellets. Floating carnivore sticks should be accepted.
