I just bought three 1 inch baby parachromis managuense. They have been alone in apporixmately 25 gallons of my divided 85. This is the end of day 2 in the new tank and they wont eat from what I can tell. I've tried the only things I have that would fit in their mouths which is frozen brine shrimp and tetra color enhancing granules. They don't seem to take either or them unless they're eating at night just digging out of the gravel. Does anybody know of anything that would be irresistable to these little baby jags? once they're eating ill work on pellet training but for the time I want them to be taking in something beneficial.
Please help, I've wanted these fish for years!

Try frozen bloodworms..fresh or thawed market shrimp in pieces small enough..find out what they were eating prior...it being only day 2 give them some time they may be stressed...

Try Goldfish Flakes by Tetra.

That is what my Dovii Fry and Umbee Fry eat when they were 1". Just a suggestion.

if you barely just introduced the jag to the tank.dont expect it to eat right away(some of my fish have eaten right away even though they were new to the tank, but all fish are different)Just give it time to settle in..
when I grew out my jag fry. they just got crushed hikari gold...
