Our family dog.. best dog in the world.. passed away last week.

We miss him very much but we need a big dog in the house. Not only does it feel empty, but in our neighborhood it's best to have some sort of security (we were robbed last summer while the dog was sleeping closed in an air conditioned room).

We went out to look for 'THE puppy'. We found her.

Her name is B.B. (Baby Bear) and she's 2 months old. St. Bernard.

She's adorable and very smart. After 1 day she already has learned to use the backyard to go to the bathroom instead of the floor.

Our old guy was very dear to heart. We've had a family member call us 'heartless' for already having a new pup. I just think we have a lot of love to give. Plus we named our new girl after him.. He was Bear.. and she's now Baby Bear!

what a lovely puppy! she looks adorable and take no notice of idiots who say you're heartless just because you got another pet - what counts is that you loved your last pet a lot and you treated him well.

He was a happy old guy. We miss him. My boyfriend said he fit in his hand when he was a baby.

This new gal carries his name so we won't forget him! She's a sweetie though and thanks for your kind words.

She'll end up being HUGE.. at least 150lbs. I can't wait to scare the neighborhood!

Awesome, I have an 11 month old Saint Bernard that is around 80-90lbs. I can hardly even remember when she was that size.

I live in Frankford.. Parents have had the same house since I was 1. I live with my boyfriend only a few block away, right by Frankford high school.
