I finally had a baby motoro the other night. Just one though, female is still pretty young. I separated the baby and he is in a 20L for now. I used the same water that was in the big tank but he is not eating the way I thought he would. It looks like he nibbles but not as much as I thought. I have tried bloodworms, brine shrimp, and live blackworms. The blackworms seem to work the best. Any suggestions?

I wish i could help.
It seems like more people have trouble with rays than anything else....judging by the posts. Maybe it's a good sign that they aren't good in captivity.
But if you've got yours to breed that is a good sign.

it is normal for them to not eat after birth for a few days...don't worry.

Mine always took cut up earthworms at about day 4 or so. How big ar the pups?

Give the pup a few more days, lights off, and minimal traffic area....
