Baby Ornatums

Hey everyone,

Just thought i'd post a few pics of some baby Ornatums. I picked up 3 little ones a few months ago. They were about half inch or so when i got them and now they're pushing about 1.25 inches. They are so hard to take pics of since they're constantly darting around. Hopefully the pics show off the blue spangles and lime green color thats starting to come in.

They are currently housed in a 50g. I have a 125g waiting for them when they get some more size on them. I find it easier to use smaller tanks for grow outs since it seems easier for them to find the food and not have it wasted and clouding the water.
 
A species I wish too try at some point. Thanks for sharing
 
very cool..hope all you guys who've been buying them are able to get them to breed. We definitely gotta get these spread out through the hobby. Atromaculatums too. :)
