Yes very much so. Just don't feed them crap foods and you will be fine.

absolutely. their coloration and patterns change as they get bigger-like someone else stated, feed it a good, varied diet.

yea...Mine were pretty much black and i gave them a variety of foods with a base food of Hikari gold and they colored up great
