My LFS just got these pikes in. Listed as Green pike. Anybody have an adult picture?

Thx. for posting the mikofish site address Hadrian!

The posted 'green pike' photo looks more like lepidota - gold ring by caudal fin. Hard to tell with juvies....
common name "green pike" could also be cincta or compressiceps

I think it is C. proteus. It could also be C. lucius but you really can't tell until females start getting the dorsal fin spots. I purchased my C. proteus as "green pike" and that was the last I heard of green pikes (C. compressiceps is also labeled as the green pike sometimes). Here are a few pics of mine, so you can compare them and see.

Oh, as with most Saxatilis pikes, they are hard to ID. Even more so when they are small, so research and decide for yourself, but I'm thinkin proteus.
