I think it's quite possible, after all several Tiger x Lion hybrids have been bred around the world, and those lineages split up way back when Africa split from Europe and Asia.
Really it all comes down to genetic sequences. If the parents' DNA is similar enough, they will produce healthy offspring which will be able to reproduce. If the parents are further apart genetically, you'll get infertile but healthy offspring. Further still, and you get sickly offspring that wither away and die.
I don't know about Delhezi x Palmas specifically, but I imagine they would be able to reproduce, I've seen evidence of LJ x UJ hybrids, if memory serves me right.
