Picked up these little fellows for pretty cheap. I'm wondering whose had experience raising these guys up. There still small I want to fatten them up quick enough so they can go in my 125. What should I feed and how often?

That endli should grow pretty fast and get pretty big. Feeding depends on maintenance and filtration. If you want to feed them everyday then you'd need more filtration and water changes than feeding them 2-4 times a week. Since they are young I would say if you have the time and resources feed them twice a day to fatten them up and get them a little bigger. Once they are both above 4-6" then start slowing down to 1 time a day. Then once you think they are ready or you're just tired of the maintenance you can feed them 4-5 times a week. I would feed bloodworms, brineshrimp, blackworms (i've heard they're pretty good), shrimp pellets, and cut up massivore. When they get bigger you can feed tilapia, silversides, catfish, krill, whole pellets, and earthworms. Theres a lot of things to feed your bichirs but try to vary their diet as it is better for their health and helps them grow bigger.

Thank you. One is eating bloodworms, once I put it in he popped up right away. The other didn't give a ****. I held it in front of his face and he just looked the other way...literally as he was to good for it.

I got my Delhezi as a baby at about 3". I've had good luck feeding it Ken's earthworm pellets.

Awesome. I was planning on ordering those but wasn't sure how well they'd do. I feel much better now :D

I bought my CB delhezi that size in July, now its about 8-9" and very fat. Daily feeding until I moved him to my 180. Like Dr B said, I feed 4-6 times per week. Cut tilapia, shrimp, and massivore/nls.
