So two of my Bolivian rams have been guarding the rock pile behind my driftwood for about a week. when I lowered a mirror behind the tank to have a peek it spooked them and they as well as a cloud of fry rose up into view. I have had a lot of fish breed in the past but for some reason I find this batch really exciting. Is my is ram fry ad I have been watching the parents do their thing.

Highlights
Seeing one of my rams case off two large angels.
Watching the parents catch fry n their mouth that stray and spit them back in the group.
Seeing all 4 of my (adult)rams flared up in full breeding colors.

Should I feed them BBS? and if so is an eye dropper the best method in community tank?

Your best bet would be to siphon them into their own tank if you want to save them. As they start venturing further away from the parents, they'll get picked off by tankmates.

BBS would be best. You can use a piece of rigid airline tubing hooked to an airhose to suck up BBS and blow it into the cloud of fry. That's what I've always used. An eyedropper works too but you'd probably end up with wet arms.

They look newly hatched so I am leery of a siphon yet. perhaps when a touch bigger. If I miss the opportunity to siphon a few will probably make it Lots of hiding spots in my community tank.
