Recently purchased 5 RBP. Right now, they're in a 10 gallon tank, and I'm really itching to get them out of there and into a communal. Right now, they're probably about 1" to 1 1/2" long. How much longer until you guys think I could put them in my communal containing a 6" JD, two 4" Mbunas, a 3" Mbuna, a 10" Florida Gar, and a 8" black spotted eel?

Too many things wrong with this.
First, you have 5 piranha in a 10 gallon. I understand they are babies but that is when they are extremely cannibalistic. 10's make terrible grow outs for schoals.
Two, you bought these with the intention of putting them in an aggressive community tank. One of two things will happen if this is done, Dead Piranha or dead Community fish.
Three, if by RBP you mean Red Belly PACU, then the list just grew ten fold.

If you don't have an extra 125 laying around, i suggest you return the piranha. Because i don't see the community working out.

And if they are indeed pacu, is your tank 2000 gallons?

Reb Belly Piranhas  in a community  tank

Ain't no chance of that happening good sir. As someone else pointed out it will result in either; all you piranha dead, or all your other fish dead.

I understand that crappy feeling, I have RBP's too am constantly disturbed over the fact I can't have anything in there with it/them.
