i just got a red tail cat a couple of weeks ago and i have been keeping him in a plastic container. and i just let him go and my parrot and oscar keep jacking with him. they are not big enough to eat him. but thaey wont leave him alone. also there is a tadpole madtom in there. and they dont both him whats the deal. will they kill. info please

seperate ur RTC out.....wait til he gets big..throw him back in and let him eat your other fishes for pay back!!!!

your oscar will eventually kill him if you dont take him out

You could try and rearange your whole tank so the oscar can focus on getting a new territory instead of focusing on the RTC.

:iagree: but first off what size fish and tank are we talkin here??? .. :D

I know it's a pain but Oscars will typically pick aty any "new" thing be it fish or ping pong ball. Their are 2 things you can do...

1. Rearrange the tank so everybody has to establish a new territory.

2. Make a cave that the RTC can get into but the Oscar and Parrot cannot fit.

Good luck and keep us posted.

you deffanetly need a hiding place for the R.T.C ....the oscar see's it as food ... based on for mention size of fish involved...

ONE THING I HAVE TO SAY TO U. be prepared to spend lots of money on fish foob later on. and watch out for fish that are smaller than it, cause it might just get sucked in its mouth lol
