hey guys, today I bought 3 1" wild reds and 5 1" caribe, and I want to keep them together in a
100gal tank (60"x16"x20") with alot of hiding spots, do you think they will be ok? I heard stories that caribe kill off reds in tanks.. im planning on keeping them on a high feed diet, so they dont become cannibalistic..

any kind words from anyone?

where you got those reds and cariba from?
8 in 100g will be ok for now but you NEED to upgrade the tank if you plan on keeping them all.
theres no guarantee that there will be zero killing in your tank, thats the unwritten agreement comes with piranha keeping.

If you keep them feed well they should be ok. My dad had some red, cariba, an golds togther in a 200 gallon an they were fine.

aquascape of course, i know 100gal for life is a bit small, i should be getting a 150g-200g tank soon, im going to wait for them to grow out first

Cannibalism has little to do with hunger imo. Hiding spots could cause problems. Can't wait to check em out. GL
