Hello so tuesday night I just got a baby rhom he's maybe all off 2'' and I was feeding him bloodworms right now and I put a few small guppy's in his tank and noticed some of there fins missing. But i was wondering what's a good diet was for him at that size. any help will be appreciated.

try to get it on dead food when little, you can feed shrimp, scallops, squid and white fish filet such as tilapia. make sure they are all raw.
cut them to bite size and drop in the tank, remove if it doesn't eat after 20-30 minutes or so so it won't mess up your water parameter. may take sometime but eventually they'll eat. you can also try to soak them in garlic/garlic extract to trigger their sense of smell.
if they don't eat for too long (like few days)then put in one or two quarantined guppies so your rhom wont' starve to death. once it finish the guppies then try again.

beefheart isn't the best for piranhas, as they don't digest red meat that well. you can use it as treat but not as stable diet.

the fins and slime coat is a good source of protein lil p's in the wild would fin other p's fins so the p nipping the guppies fin is fine as long as the guppy is quarantined and disease free
