How long could a baby rhom stay in a 30 gal long

A year if not longer. They'll shoot up to 6"or so then slow down.

Word. I got the tank set up with a few fish in it. But I'm finding out the more fish, the more bull****. So thinkin bout trading all my fish in at the pet store and just getting a single species fish. Easier to clean, feed, etc... I'm guessing a rhom would be best for this?
