Baby Senegal - What size they stop eating each other?

I had an unexpected surprise on my senegal tank whilst cleaning. A small fry was peaking in between the plants. I was able to collect 2x fry at 6cm and 8cm. I quickly separated them and placed them on their own fry saver as I'm afraid the big one will eat the smaller fry. This was unexpected as the parents keeps laying eggs but eats them all the time, hence I gave up and asking a friend to breed them for me. Parents are out on vacation - my friend will try to breed them for me.

Anyone with experience on Senegal babies - want to know what size they stop eating each other. If these two were survivors from previous spawns, it'll be handy to prepare me next time it happens. Any tips is also appreciated.image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Congrats :D I get excited whenever i here of Polypterus spawning in a home aquarium. :) If there is a obvious size difference of the fry try to maintain them close to the same size and separate smaller from larger fry. I have noticed 1of my female's is very gravid and will be watching for lots of activity because the parents love eating the eggs lol which are so tiny.
