like any fish, just keep its diet varied and its appetite and health should follow suit.

Bloodworms are a great staple if you can afford it. A good staple of carnivore sinking pellets and Massivore crunched up will last a while. There is also market tilapia and bait worthy earthworms too. Varied is great, but sengs will eat pretty much whatever. ;-)

all covered. once it's abit old, feed ur bichirs with mainly sinking pellets. a very nutitious staple food. just never feed ur precious bichir ANY feed fish from the pet stores. Very nasty paracits and such!

thanks for the tips but he dosent seem to be eating :(

is your tank cycled?? I had a major problem with my wolf fish for not eating for 2 weeks. If you have it cylcled and there are no signs of disease, it all fine. The babies just might be stressed out of their new home. They can survive for around a week or so with food. a healthy fish's will always give on it's stubborness when it's hungry.
