baby silver aro help

i have a silver aro that is like 6inchs now he was in a 50 gal tank and then i put him in a 350 gal mini pond he has been in it for nearly a month now and he never comes to the top he just sits in a brick with my tsn all day and he doesn't come up for food he just waits for it to sink. how do i get him to become more comfortable in his new home???

As long as he's eating he'll eventually outgrow the hole in the brick, no? Then he'll have no choice but to come out. They're pretty fast growers.
