baby silver arowana

i have a baby silver arowana and the eggsack is almost gone but i have tried feeding him flakes and he wont eat it but i put some small guppies in the tank and it had no problem eatin them but i am tryin to stay away from live food can you guys give me any helpful advice on how i can get the aro to get flakes or non- living foods..

try some freeze dried foods such as river shrimps or plankton or even krill in smaller pieces as long as it floats. I never heard of someone feeding their aro flakes. when the aro gets used to the floating foods you can train them to take pellets later.

You can also try gammarus, baby sun dried shrimp, My aro loves that he is 2.5 inches now, I had him when he was in his eggsac too, hes growing bigger now, Aros love shrimp, store bought or freeze dried at the lfs. give it a shot, he'll eat if he''s hungry enough.
