I got this guy on a money back deal due to a EBJD death. This guy eats like a pig and is very friendly. Only about 3" now...

Let me know what you think and also what are the specifics on this one? Food preferences? Suitable tankmates, etc... Anyone housed these with bichirs?

Since that is a true Texas,you will see that beast start growing really quick.I remember buying mine at 2 in half inches,now he is 4 in half inches already,haven't had him for more than 3 to 4 months.A Salvini can be consider a suitable tankmate,which I have a female in the tank.The ones to look out for,when yours starts to grow are Green Terrors,bloodparrots,convicts,firemouths,because for some reason they can't stand my Texas at all,but know they can't beat him to submission
