Baby toadfish or baby lizardfish

He blends in there pretty good. I thought he looked like just a darter of some sort in the first pic but in the second it does kinda look like a lizard fish face on him.
 
hard to tell but from the judgement from what I can make out look's like a lizardfish or some sort of goby

^ yeah, looks like some of those coldwater marine fish from tidal pools.
 
Hard to tell from the pictures. Look at the dorsal fin(s). If the fin continues along the entire back of the fish it is a blenny. If it has 2 dorsal fins that are separate but nearly the same size it's a goby. If it has one dorsal fin followed by another small fin "bud"- similar to an adipose fin found on trout- it is a lizard fish.
