got a new Tiger Shovelnose about 3 weeks ago, it's 3 inches long but thin, and wont eat anything for the past week or more. im trying hikari gold, massivore, fresh shrimp...nothing is working. should i just let him starve until he finally gives in?

Did you try and feed the cat with the lights out?

"garlic power" made by bightwell aquatics. it says for marine use but i used it in my freshwater tank and it worked like a charm! jsut follow the Directions on the back of the bottle!

only thing that my TSN ate at that size was feeder guppies and he only ate with the lights off

you can try bloodworms, earthworms, and smaller feeders. let us know how it works out for you

get it eatn and it will eventually go to pellets as it sees other fish eat them. cats aren't usually hard to get to eat pellets, but get it eating something (even if it means feeders) first then as you notice it eating pellets you can quit with live. ghost shrimp, guppies, chopped night crawlers are easy ways to go
