So what a night my husband and i had! It all started with me noticing our JackDempsy 2 days ago hitting up against his filter and heater. I thought one of the other fish just peed him off cause its happend before. Then last night we noticed our loach had black spots all over him and our two rapheal cats looked like there skin was peeling. So my husband was like well we better do a water change and see if that helps. Wellll after taken everything out of the tank all that was left in the tank was the fish and a BATTERY. Omg!!! then we noticed it EXPLODED!!!!My poor fish had battery acid all over thanx to my 9 month old daughter who put a battery in the tank. The reason she was able to do this was because that 35 setup was underneath a 55gal. As of today the tank is nice and clean and fish look like there do so much better. Im so glad we noticed when we did but my lesson learned is when you see your fish peedoff and if you have babies in the house make sure you look around the tank to make sure they didnt decide to give the fish a present lol.:nilly::nilly::nilly:
