baby wc teugelsi?

an importer has been offering tiny (3" or so) teugelsi, supposedly wild caught (and priced accordingly). Is it possible to have such small wc bichirs? How would you manage trapping them at these sizes?

Very unlikely.
Especially as right now there is a HUGE Teugelsi breeding program going on all over Asia.

Although i would guess these are f1? Since teugelsi have been in the market for only a few years?

Probably F1. I found it somehow doubtful to have babies as WC. Not unless if you do have an awesome catch.
