It has been a couple of years since I have been on here, but I finally have a tank up and running again that I can take care of after a couple of years.
Right now I don't have any real plans to upgrade due to space constraints. I have a 37 gal. planted tank right now with an AC 70, and another filter on the tank (I forgot the name, but I do know it runs 150 gph).
Currently stocked with:
4 blue rams
2 emerald green cories
2 juvenile angels
and a few neons that have made it now.
All of the fish are fairly young. The angels are about the size of a half dollar coin, including fins and the rams are in the 1.5 inch range. I'd like to get 2-3 more cories and 2-3 otos for algae control. Is there another type of cichlid, preferable one stays fairly small, that could live for life with what's in there now? I'm not to interested in most of the apistos and they are not common around me either.
Would something like a Keyhole, T-bar, or a jewel cichlid be ok with what is currently living in there? I would just like another fish that is going to stand out amongst everything else. Are their any geo's that could pull off living in there?
The 37 has some awkward dimensions and is really tall, so the footprint isn't the greatest, but I'd have to look back at the actual measurements I have written down. I do know that it is 30" wide though.
Thanks!
