So, I used to be into polys in 2012 and had a decent collection, unfortunately due to some military obligations I had to leave the hobby for a while. I just came back around the beginning of year and figured I would do an update.

Big shout out to framcosco framcosco , he has really made it possible to acquire such a nice set of polys.

I bought my current 180 off a buddy, was a salt tank, tank was in good shape, needed alot of cleaning and some elbow grease. Was lacquered black, refinished it a nice cherry red to match the room its in, reinforced the stand.

Running a 55g sump underneath, about 5 gallons worth of scrubbies as a wet/dry portion, the rest is baffled off and currently holds around 30lbs of lava rock and around 3 gallons of matrix. Bio load is still quite low considering how many large fish there are.

Current stocklist:
22" PBB
21" Ansorgii
18" CB Endli
18" Black Volta
16" Koloton
16" Koliba
14" Cong
14" Hybrid
18" WC Nigerian
22" WC monster Nigerian
2x 3" Irwini cats
9" Jardini

The Irwini pictured is recovering nicely from a small fungal infection.
Potato phone pics, but its all I have :(20160319_094118 (2).jpg 20160319_094158.jpg 20160319_094218 (3).jpg 20160319_094259 (2).jpg 20160319_094635.jpg 20160319_094749 (2).jpg 20160319_095528 (3).jpg 20160319_095552 (3).jpg 20160319_095604 (3).jpg 20160319_095639 (3).jpg 20160319_095709.jpg 20160319_100119 (2).jpg

Very nice!

Yeah awesome is an understatement. Pbb is a looker as is the whole lot

Nice! Instant lower jaw collection. That pbb and ansorgi are my favorites of the bunch. Any plans for driftwood and plants?

Yeah for sure, I probably have a couple hundred pounds of driftwood waiting to be cut to size. I had some floating waiting to bog down, but i think my aro was being a dick and beating himself up on it so i took it out.

Just have to find the right pieces that look nice and aren't going to take up too much room with such a small tank.

The polys dont mess with the little irwini ?

Nah, not at all, they pile together. Which was kind of the plan in the first place since irwini are such sedentary fish in the first place.

Perhaps I'm lucky, I have never had any large bichirs show any aggression or hunger towards small fish, regardless of how small.
