You guys can kill me now, because sorry no pictures.

I had a good time in Fuzhou, and have some interesting stories, I will get into them later.

Good too see this forum is growing bigger and better. :)

:banhim: :headshake

welcome back tho

LOL :welcome: Phatboy, u went to china and didnt bring us pics???

So tell us about the LFS there.. the fish already in plastic bags... in tubs... etc etc..

many parts are edible!

I almost didn't have the time to visit the fish stores but I managed to get to a few. Only goldfishes and baby walking catfish are kept in little tubs, the tropical/exotic fishes are kept in tanks. there was one store that had a big tank full of deformed fish, including an arched back silver arowana, a couple arched back ornate bichir and an arched back sturgeon.

I also saw a yellow tail asian arowana, it was pretty cheap too. The fish stores had datnoids (almost wanted to grab one home) and sturgeons, which was what really caught my eye. There were some community fishes and cichlids but nothing that I paid much attention to.

The fish markets (for food) had alot of interesting fishes too. They had several species of snakeheads, and big barbs and giant siamese carps. My uncle caught home a big around 20" walking catfish and a big around 12" northern snakehead, both ended up on the food table.

I also bought a small around 24" cobra snake, and I ate it too.

Honestly, I think one, perhaps two ( or maybe more??) of either of these fish, could have possibly 'waddled' into a pair of damp socks inside one of my luggages??!! :lipsseale: For reals?!! ;)

But anyways, Welcome back, Phatboy!
