Just in from HOT in Glen Burnie, MD.

Strange experience had to request a box for them instead of them being bagged. But they look great none the less. They are dripping now more pix when they get in the tank.

the other is a histrex. They are in the tank now the motoro covered himself and the histrex is exploring. Fun to watch.

Doesnt look like a true hystrix to me. More like a "guyana" which tend to be either a humerosa or orbygini(sp).

I will let you guys know if they eat later. I have actually been looking at these fish for a few weeks now. According to the sales guy they are eating shrimp including ghost, and worms black and night crawlers. I bought some black worms for them and will pick up some market shrimp tomorrow.

As for the idea I only know what the tank said. Maybe some of the ray experts will chime in with their thoughts on the second ray.

I just threw some feeders in the tank with the silver and jar for them, to my surprise the rays instantly began stalking and catching them.. They are eating like pigs 2 hrs into the tank. I was going to give them blackworms but I'll do that b4 i go to bed. Gotta fatten these babies up a bit.
