has anyone seen or tried a product called air stone thought it might look coolin my 480 gal. you can buy at lowes

I looked it up. Lowe's and AirStone will not revel the full list of it's ingredients. However since some customers report that it has a very strong unpleasant odor after installation, it is probably not safe initially. It may need curing the way you cure homemade reef rock. In vinegar and water solution. Even then you would have to test it. A short test may not show long term negative effects on the fish. Since it is made mostly of recycled ingredients, I would be very hesitant to use it. But let us know if you do decide to use it and what your results are...
