Hi all,

i am very excited to be back in this hobby after a 6mth break (still had a tank setup but wasnt interested).

I have some new plans which i would like to share and please feel free to offer your opinions and thoughts, good or bad.

My tank is custom built (by me) 1650x630wx700h in 15mm starfire and i just moved it today to be setup as a look through wall (sort of) in my garage/guitar/chill out room.

The first photo was taken just after the build, the second was the setup approx last xmas, and the rest are of the pain staking task of moving the tank today.

I will put more photos up of the progress and i really hope i don't get the desire to move this tank again.

I also hope my Moorish Idol of 1.5 yrs and Regal Tang of 3 yrs enjoy their tubs for the night!!!

awesome, its salt water. nice setup. did you make that sump? since its low gallonage do u need braces on a small silicone'd sump like that? i wanna make a tall skinny one that fits between my wall and my stand. nice setup

Yeah i made the sump but is only approx 300ltrs in 12mm so wouldn't have needed braces. The way the cabinet was made the sump can only go in thru the side and there is no way of doing that with the tanks new position. So,,, being the over the top fool proof wierdo that i am i put braces on the new sump to ensure nothing could go wrong (don't want to shift the tank again, not the nicest job as i'm sure you would know). As for the cabinet i went full on with that too using 8 x 70mmx70mm pine legs which is why the sump has to go thru the side.

Let me know what dimensions you are looking at for your sump and i may be able to tell you what you need.
