thanks guys. the tank is pretty bare though I have added a couple more decorations since and plan to add a little bit more, but want to keep it mostly open space to give him enough room to swim around and grow. The tank is 55 gallons but is short term. Long term I plan on getting either a 125 or a 180.

I got him from a guy in a local FB group I joined. Says he came from a group of juvies purchased when the ACA was in Indy. :)

I have some green swordtails in my 36g w/ some firemouths growing out. I love livebarers too. I really would like to get some other wild types like p. Petenensis which is a large Molly. I just can't add any kind of livebarer to my 150g, because my astyanax bimaculatus will eat them. I'm not giving up the astyanax, because they are really hard to find.
