What is the best filter that hangs on the back of the tank?

I'm pretty new to this hobby , But I find whispers to be cheap and not very good, I do really like the Aqua Clear, I have replaced all of the whispers for Aqua Clears.

HOT Magnums are pretty decent, so are tetratec.

My pref is Aquaclear, but the Emperor and Marineland are hard to beat for bio-activity, bio wheels are a fantastic invention...

Everyone has their own opinion, but in what I've seen around here...everyone rants and raves about only 2 products:

Aqua Clear
Marineland Penguin (which I personally use)

have some tetrawhispers, but anything bigger than the 30, and its not really a whisper anymore...

i agree aquaclear and marineland penguin is the one that most people go for.

Emperor 400's my opinion./..
