Hey

I have kept some P´s a few years ago. But I didnt know much about them (no internet and books were to expensive for me), so I made all the common mistakes of a fish keeper beginner and things went bad really fast:screwy:
Time has passed, but the piranha tank was always a project in my mind.
The problem was having another large tank at home, since they need to stay alone. A few weeks ago I decided to end my 600l South American cichlids tank, since they needed to many of my time to keep the water in good quality all the time.
So I started to think on a planted tank with some tetras, but then I remember a planted tank I have seen with P´s and some small tetras that I really liked

I bougth 10 with 2cm :nilly: and put them in a 100l tank. This photo is from 25 March when they arrived

A month later (28 April), I moved the remaining 7 (3 have died) to a 200l tank
Moving the first P´s, I notice how much they have grown in just a month :WHOA:
The next day I bougth 8 more with 4cm, since the ones I hade before, was with that size also and I wanted a larger shoal.

In about 2-3 months, (maybe sunner, depending on how fast they will grow) they will pass to the 600l tank. Same style of tank but with more driftwood and plants.

Ill update in about a month to show how much they grown:D

Just an update on the growth

1 month and almost doubled the size. And I didnt catch one of the biggest...

I want your driftwood man! Great tank, I was using it as a basis for revising mine, but couldn't find any wood that looked as cool.

Be careful with those "RB in the hand" pics as they get bigger!

They just get bigger at a speed I event seen in any other fish I kept :nilly:

It havent passed a month since the last update, but here are a few pics and a video :D

They have formed a compact school under the driftwood and only came out to feed or when the room is empty.

I didnt have the guts to pick this one
It was to stressed from being catched
