Background color suggestion

What is the best background color to bring out the color of the fish?

Usually I say black is the best, but I use a 80% red/20% black for my FH

Lighting can also effect the colors of your fish. What kind of lights are you using? Other than outside influences, a fish's color can change because of emotion, temp., food, and water quality.

I use 8 x T5 80W white light. I having a 5ft tank. After switching the light, it takes 1 to 2hrs to see the color of the fishes. Else the body of the fish is almost black
