Background colour

I was thinking of painting the outside bottom and back of my new tank a different colour other than black. I may just go with black, but i was also thinking blue, or even some other colour. any one have a painted background other than black? pics? my tank stock is motoros and an asian arowana.

Used 3 different colors of paint for mine. I used a copper, a bronze, and black. Used 3/4 masking tape laid down first to make the outlines. I painted copper highlights and then covered with bronze. I pulled the tape off and painted the back black so that it would show through where the tape was.

That looks amazing. I seen it on hear befor. Thanks for the explanation. I think i may just try that but go go with some more earth tone colours... then do the bottom in a lighter sand colour.
