Background Gel

I ended up buying the Seaview gel and as soon as I opened it and pored some out I realized what it was, Baby Oil! I would like to try it to see if I'm right but don't have the need. I heard of someone using Vaseline also.

Not happy with background, there are 3 air pockets running up from the bottom of glass about halfway. I think next time I move tank I will just paint the back glass on the outside of coarse!

an associate at petsmart told me that it gets glued on the inside. i lol'd.

I think it is actually glycerin, not oil. I used it and got good results, but it was a PITA to get all the bubbles out.

Your probably correct! I wish I never used this product it keeps looking worse and I spent over an hour getting bubbles out and had it perfect. I am going to remove and use paint, it will cost much less and look better. I will post pictures of all stages as soon as I finish.
