Background ideas?

So I'm thinking about DIY 3-D background ideas for a ray tank. I was thinking of doing something like a driftwood theme or something regarding the ray's natural habitat. So, any ideas on how I could design a background to compliment the rays would be really helpful.

I reckon tree root design is a good idea, got to think in 99% of time in wild rays are on the bottom so the root idea would look very natural

I wasn't thinking along the lines of roots per say but that's a really good idea.

Where is a good place to get for a 250 gal tank? I am also looking for a cool root rock background for a ray tank. Thanks
